Phonics: All About The Letter 'b'

Baron Bob

Baron Bob loved the colour blue. He loved bananas too and grew them all over his farmland. Betty, the elephant, would wander into his land every day to pick a bunch of bananas.

She would go into the forest and share them with Benny, the bear. Benny loved honey. She would drizzle honey over the bananas and have them.

All the bees of the forest knew about this!

Both, Betty, the elephant and Benny, the bear owed a lot to Baron Bob. They had had a lot of bananas. They felt that they were in debt.

Last Sunday, the branch on which the bees had built their hive broke.

When the comb fell on the ground, a lamb was nearby. She was left numb as the bees attacked her in agitation.

Betty and Benny were kind enough to take her back to her pen on Baron Bob's grounds.

"You both have repaid your debt," the Baron declared. "Thank You, for bringing my lamb back.

Could you two look-after my lamb as she frequently climbs over the fence and wanders into the forest to graze on the green grass? You could take home as many bananas as you want in return."

Without doubt, both Betty, the elephant and Benny, the bear agreed.
